1. Who We Are

CompliAI ("we," "us," or "our") operates compliaiapp.com — an AI compliance document generation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, company name, product details, and responses to our compliance assessment. We also collect standard web analytics data (page views, referrers, browser type) via privacy-respecting analytics tools. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the CompliAI service, generate compliance documents personalized to your product, send transactional emails related to your account, and improve our service. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. AI Data Processing

When you generate a compliance document, your personalization inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate document content. Anthropic's data processing is governed by their Privacy Policy and API Terms. We transmit only the information you provide in the generation form. Your assessment answers and company details are not retained by our AI provider beyond the immediate API call.

5. Data Retention

Assessment results are stored in your browser's session storage and are not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account. Generated documents and form inputs are not stored server-side beyond the generation request. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@compliaiapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the service to function (session management, Stripe payment flow). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
